During my tenure at Aldo, I steered the design direction by crafting captivating seasonal stories centered around trend-right footwear. Serving as the primary lead for women's design, I worked on seasonal global macro-trends, influencing styles, colors, prints, and materials. Leading a team of 8 designers, I not only set strategic objectives but also guided the daily design development process across diverse functional teams. Collaborating with the VP, Senior Directors, Line Managers, and internal creative services, I formed partnerships to construct and deliver a unified seasonal vision encompassing trends, colors, materials, leather, and concepts.

ALDO Love Planet

The journey began in 2019 with the introduction of RPPL (pronounced Ripple), ALDO's inaugural sustainable shoe that made a significant impact in the market. This eco-conscious footwear featured sustainable foam insoles sourced from algae biomass and upper knit materials crafted entirely from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Building on this foundation, I played a pivotal role in expanding the Sustainable business by exploring and capitalizing on eco-friendly opportunities through exceptional design, color choices, and innovative material development.
