Jill Stuart | Spring Summer 2015 Full Fashion Show
JILL STUART 2015 Spring Collection
Collaborated with Jill Stuart in the development of the Runway Spring 2015 Collection. Drawing inspiration from the faded, nostalgic aura of her preceding Resort collection from the 1970s, this collection featured a concise ensemble of 10 styles presented in three distinct colorways. My responsibilities encompassed overseeing the entire design process, where I meticulously refined lasts, construction details, and upper patterns to ensure the seamless realization of Jill Stuart's vision.
Jill Stuart New York Fashion Week Fall 2015
“For fall, Jill Stuart borrowed from Sixties Mod, Seventies disco and her vision of a young DJ who’s “having a blast, mixes things up and is fiercely aware of the world we live in,” said the designer backstage at her show.
This hipster is sexy and a bit rock ’n’ roll. She strolls around in micromini allover-sequined frocks, skinny pantsuits, pleather jackets, fur coats, and optic prints — all of which Stuart has done before, but this time the message was louder. Case in point: a metallic striped dress that fell to midcalf and featured leg-of-mutton sleeves, which nodded to the late Seventies but was delivered in a modern silhouette.” - WWD
