This footwear design collection was a personal tribute to my mom and her five sisters. Their story of migrating to the USA in the early '70s became the heart of this project. It’s like a love letter, retelling the emotions of their first winter in the city—moments filled with nostalgia, resilience, and their unique sense of style. Each shoe in the collection captures a piece of their journey, blending memories and meaning. For me, it’s not just about design; it’s about honoring their legacy and exploring the rich ties of culture and family through something as universal as footwear.
